First I must tell you, there is no off season for my horses. We ride year round. Cold or hot, wet or dry, I'd rather be on a horse. And if you could ask my horses...well, they might say something about how nice it is to graze, but they'll also say they like to get out and go places. And this has been a great year for it. We were able to get on the trails in the high country earlier than usual and it's stayed nice, both up there and down here. It's also been great to see so many friends riding, training, showing and just plain enjoying their horses. So if you see me on the trail, wave. Or better yet, ride on over and get acquainted. Wishing you Many Happy Hoofprints, Dawn

AuthorHi! My name is Dawn. I've been caring for horses for over 33 years now. The list is quite long - cutting horses, dressage horses, reiners, jumpers, endurance, trail, ranch and roping horses and large strings of guest ranch horses. I've been an equine vet tech for over 6 years, a breeding manager and horse trainer for close to twenty years, and a wrangler/trail guide for 15 seasons. Somehow I'm younger than the total of all those numbers..but then that's horses for you. They give back more than they take. ArchivesCategories |
